Who We Are
We're a community of cold plunge enthusiasts who meet every single Friday, 7:00am at Golden Gate Promande in San Francisco. Since day one we've shown up, jumped in, and kept the coffee hot for whoever shows up next.No membership. No fees. Just cold water, good people, and the kind of community that keeps you coming back every single week.
What You Need To Know
First time? Amazing! We're so excited to meet you. All you need is a bathing suit, a towel, a coffee cup, some layers to warm up and a great attitude.We meet at the Golden Gate Promenade (100 Yacht Rd) next to Crissy Field beach every single Friday at 7:00 am.Feel free to bring your family and friends. Coming solo? Many brave souls have come before you. This is a very welcoming community; show up, and you will be amazed by the connections you make.We make a bunch of coffee (bring your own cup). We all get in the water together. Stay in for however long you’d like. We have a pop-up sauna tent most weeks. Sometimes we cook pancakes or throw a fun event. Look out for Stephen, a tall Irish guy, or Aleks, slightly smaller yet still tall Australian girl, and say hello. Please make sure to read our Safety Notice & Assumption of Risk below.

Cold water immersion carries serious inherent risks, including cold shock, hypothermia, cardiac arrest, and drowning. San Francisco Bay presents additional hazards, including strong and unpredictable currents, limited visibility, boat traffic, and marine wildlife. Do not enter the water if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, respiratory illness, or any medical condition that may be affected by cold water or physical exertion. Consult a physician before participating.Salty Dogs Club SF is a volunteer-run community group. We do not provide supervision, lifeguards, safety equipment, or medical personnel. Participation is entirely voluntary and at your own risk. Neither Salty Dogs Club SF nor any of its organizers, founders, or members accepts any liability for injury, illness, death, or loss of property arising from participation in any club activity.By participating, you confirm that you are physically fit to do so, that you have read and understood this notice, and that you assume full and sole responsibility for your own safety.
